High Country Horse Adventures offers you the opportunity to experience magnificent high country that will take your breath away on quiet, friendly horses.
Glenthorne Station tours range from 1 hour to 5 days. The surrounding mountains and high country have an inspiring feel and special majesty of their own. There are beautiful lakes and tarns to be visited or to swim in if you please.
Glenthorne Station is well suited horse riding country for all abilities. If being an inexperienced horse rider has you worried, than don’t because we have very gentle horses for people who need them.
We cater for experienced riders as well as first time trekkers, if you let us know how much experience you have had at the time of booking we can match you up with one of our many horses to suit your requirements.
For longer treks, morning tea and picnic lunches are provided.
What to bring: comfortable closed toe footwear, long trousers, drink bottle, sunscreen and warm clothing as mountain weather is changeable.

Price: 2 hours from $90 per person, full day treks that includes lunch from $160 per person. Many length options available.
